This book is about Jack and Annie trying to find the third secret of happiness. Their friend Merlin is sick and they want to help him. Jack and Annie wonder if they should use their magic wand for others or them. They are stranded on a desert island and go swimming. They travel through the ocean and get captured by an octopus. They are rescued by a passing ship and find the third secret of happiness. I thought this was a great book full of adventure. I would recommend it to children.
