Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules, by Jeff Kinney
Illustrated by Jeff Kinney
Published by Amulet Books
The main character is Greg Heffley and this story takes place mostly at his house and school. The theme is probably being there for somebody. The genre is realistic fiction. One time Greg's brother, Rodrick, was sick on his sophomore picture day, then his dad sent in his second-grade picture. Greg's mom made a gingerbread house a week before Christmas, and said nobody could touch it until Christmas Eve Dinner. Greg ate a little piece each night, and then on Christmas Eve, the gingerbread house was almost gone.

The main character is Greg Heffley, and takes place mostly at Greg's school and house. The genre is realistic fiction. The theme is friendship. Greg Heffley's mom gets him a diary that should be a journal. A slice of cheese has say on the school basketball court for a while and got rotten. This was a good book and the movie was just like it.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days, by Jeff Kinney
Illustrated by Jeff Kinney
Published by Amulet Books in 2009
This story tells about Greg Hefley's summer. Part of it is good, as he spends time with his best friend Rowley at a country club, plays tennis with Holly Hills, and makes his dad proud. All of a sudden, his dad finds out he has no job, Rowley bans him from the country club, and Holly thinks he is Fregley. This is all terrible. Rodrick books a gig at Heather Hills's Sweet Sixteen and even hugs Greg. In the end, Heather gets dirty and mad, but the summer was enjoyable and bad all rolled in one. I would recommend this book to all kids of any age.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid
Diary of a Wimpy Kid, by Jeff Kinney
In the beginning, he said First of all let me get something straight. In the middle they had a program. In the end someone screamed. My favorite part was when they had the cheese touch.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days, by Jeff Kinney
The boy was playing his video games with the lights off with some bags of chips and two cans of power juice. His mom came into his room and said: You should really let some sunlight in here... So he went to his friend Rowley's house. Rowley's family was starting a country club. I liked the part when he was playing the video game.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules, by Jeff Kinney
My book is Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules. It is the most funny book I have ever read. My book is fiction. My setting of this book is inside. I think it is good. The beginning is when Gregory is at swim practice. The middle is when they sit on a ball. The end is when they sell candy.

This book is about Greg and his life. His brother is always messing with him. Their parents and little brother Manny go away for a while. They throw a huge party, but hid all of the evidence by the time they get back. They find out by a tape that was recording the whole thing. Rodrick can't compete in a talent show, which really upsets him. Greg makes it up to him by sacrificing his night in the talent show also. Greg and Rodrick actually get along at the end. This is a great book for kids. I recommend it for kids. I thought it was amazing.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel, by Jeff Kinney

Published by Amulet Books in 2012
This book starts out telling about Greg's early life. He didn't like a lot of things, he was a cranky kid. His family's luck really disappears when their Uncle Hammer moves in. During that time, the school holds a dance to help raise money. Greg wants a date so bad, he asks his best friend Rowley to be his wingman. Greg finally finds a girl, but Rowley comes along too. A little while into the dance they have to share the gymnasium for a meeting. Greg never really got a chance with her, so the dance was useless. This was a great book. I recommend it for everyone.

The main characters in this book are Rodrick and Greg. The setting is the talent show. The theme is to entertain. The genre is fiction. Diary of a Wimpy Kid is about Greg Hefflex facing his other brother Rodrick. It's a little about school and his little brother. I can tell you he isn't going to make it.
