The main character is the Grinch and the people of Whoville. The setting is the Grinch's cave and Whoville. The theme is that Christmas can be a good holiday and you don't have to mess it up for everybody. The genre of the book is fiction. The Grinch hated Christmas. He lives in a cave to get away from Whoville. The people did not know he was going to mess it up. They just had a good time. I thought the book was exciting and fun. Yes, I do recommend it to other people of all ages.
